Lowers Cholesterol levels
The food you eat has a lot of influence on your levels of LDL (bad) cholesterol.
A study in 2018 of 60 people with hyperlipidemia, showed that 30 of them who received 5 grams of ginger pasted powder each day saw their LDL cholesterol level significantly drop by 17.4% over a period of 3 months.
People who couldn’t continue with this experiment was because of the taste of ginger in their mouth as they received high doses of ginger (500mg – 1 gram of ginger)
In another study, people who received 3 grams of ginger powder (in capsule form) each day saw significant reductions in most cholesterol markers. Their LDL cholesterol level dropped by 10% over 45 days.
